For
further information below are our return guidelines relating to individual pieces.

 

Furniture

 

If your item/s are
purchased from stock, and once in your home you find they are not suitable, we
can often accept a return of these items.

 

In this event, the
original delivery charge will not be refunded and a delivery uplift charge
would apply; this can often be more expensive than our standard delivery
service which is partly subsided by your purchase. Please note that clearance
is excluded and that also due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept
returns of mattresses or beds unless identified as faulty.

 

Any goods which are
made to order and are in-progress with our supplier/s are unable to be
cancelled. We will only consider cancellations/changes to your order if we
receive your written request to do so before the goods have commenced
production by the manufacturer. We cannot accept cancellations after this stage.

Phone order and Distance Selling Regulations For Website Customers only.

Consumer Contract Regulations apply to your order only if the goods have not been made to your specification, custom-made, or if you have not examined the product in one of our showrooms. If the Consumer Contract Regulations do apply, you can cancel your furniture by notifying us in writing, either before delivery or within 14 days starting the day after the delivery date. If you wish to return any items, it is your responsibility to take good care of them. You become the owner once they are delivered to you, and you are liable for any loss or damage. Please ensure the items remain ‘as new’. To reduce the risk of damage claims, we ask that you retain all original packaging for returning the goods.

Camas House also reserves the right to cancel any orders placed on our website and in store for any reason.

 

Should you find a
problem or fault with your furniture, please contact our customer service
department 01349 808 675 where we will endeavour to establish a suitable
resolution.

 

 

Carpets, Flooring
and Soft Furnishings

 

As you would expect,
the nature of these products being cut and altered from their original size to
fit your property means that we are unable to accept any returns due to the
diminished value of the altered product. Should the fitted goods be found
faulty then we will endeavour to establish a suitable resolution by way of
repair, replacement or reselection.

 

Any goods which are

Gifts, Accessories,
Lighting, Linen and Bedding

 

If you wish to
return or exchange your items, you may do so on the condition that the goods
are in the original condition with packaging undamaged. All returns must be
accompanied with the original receipt and within 28 days of purchase.

Mattresses will be delivered sealed in plastic wrapping, allowing for inspection. Any mattress with a broken seal will be considered as used and cannot be returned.

 

Due to hygiene
reasons, we are unable to accept returns of pillows, duvets, mattress
protectors, and pillow protectors regardless of date of purchase, or whether
they have been unopened.

We
may only cancel your order if we are unable to supply the goods due to any
cause beyond our reasonable control. In the event of cancellation of an order
by either party, the Company’s liability will be limited to a refund of any
monies paid.
